About

Berlin Krebs, RYT-500, CD, LC

I am a yoga & movement teacher, birth doula, certified birth assistant, breastfeeding counselor and cook.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel/Restaurant/Tourism Management. I have worked as a cook, bartender, farmer, baker, front-of-house manager, event coordinator, yoga & meditation guide and neurofeedback technician in a mental health practice. This unique amalgamation informs the compassionate, intuitive and authentic way I serve women in their pregnancy, birthing and mothering journey.

Holding space, working with my hands, facilitating somatic connection and anticipating the needs of others has been a part of my work forever.

Pregnancy, birth, and postpartum are monumental, transformative experiences in a woman’s life. Having the slow, thorough, one-on-one support of a trusted woman and fellow mom who’s been through it can be an essential piece of the preparation & healing processes.

Supporting women through birth, movement, and lactation feels, to me, like the perfect confluence of my hospitality and teaching skills, of spirituality and practical, hands-on support.

I love writing, hiking, learning about anatomy, trying out new recipes, the French language, and traveling. I live in Ellicott City with my husband and daughter.
